Private & Semi-Private Lessons
Our staff of qualified instructors will make your learning experience enjoyable and fun! The Mt. Crescent Ski School offers the ATS (American Teaching System) approach for beginner skiers and snowboarders in a semi-private or private lesson. You will have one of our skilled instructors all to yourselves and a 1 hr and 30 minute lesson will be tailored to meet your needs whether it’s the 1st time or the 10th time you’re hitting the slopes. A lesson from the Mt. Crescent Ski School is the best way to learn!

All Private, Semi-Private, Little Shredders, & Weekend Warriors Lessons must be booked online. These will not be available as walk-in lesson options.

Cost:$75 per person, up to a maximum of 8 (Children ages 6 and under cannot be grouped together and must have their own instructor.
Lift Tickets and Rental Equipment are not included
NOTE:
Semi-Private Lessons are for friends or families that wish to learn together. We don’t create groups from walk-ins. All persons must be of similar age and experience level in order for everyone to receive the best possible learning experience.
Little Shredders
A 2hr group skiing lesson for ages 5 – 7
It is highly suggested if your child is between 5 - 7yrs old, they participate in the Little Shredders program before taking a Private Lesson
A program just for the little shredders! This 2 hour group lesson will have your kids learning the basics of skiing. They will also have a chance to warm up and have lunch. Afterwards they’ll participate in some fun activities with an emphasis on skiing safety. The lesson will finish off outside where they will continue to learn the 1st steps of skiing.

Need to know...
- Reservations are required. (Can call to check for availability.)
- Prepayment is required by credit card. Prepaid reservations are nonrefundable.
- Lessons start promptly at their scheduled time so please arrive at a minimum, an hour early. You will need to obtain your lesson ticket, get needed lift tickets, and get fitted with equipment. Lines can sometimes be long. (No refunds if you are late for your lesson)
- Upon arrival, check in at the ticket counter. You will obtain your lesson ticket and any needed rental and/or lift tickets. (MAKE SURE YOU RESERVE RENTALS IF YOUR LESSON DOES NOT PROVIDE THEM!)
- Dress appropriately for winter activity.
- Unless specified, lessons do not include a lift ticket or rental equipment. You will need to purchase these online.
- Mt. Crescent has a no-refund policy. If Mt. Crescent closes due to weather, we will reschedule.
- Reschedule requests must be received at least 24 hours in advance. Failing to provide this notice may result in your lesson being canceled without a refund.

WAIVER A waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian for anyone under 18 years of age. Every person must have a signed waiver before doing any activity at Mt. Crescent Ski Area.
Mt. Crescent is not responsible for weather conditions and snow conditions due to weather, please check conditions prior to making your purchase as no refunds will be given. Mt. Crescent holds the right to close at any given time due to weather and/or unfavorable conditions. Mt. Crescent holds the right to close or modify hours of operations at any given time if it is deemed in the best interest of the business and or the safety and well being of our guests and employees.
