Mt. Crescent's "Leap for a Cure" Mud Run

Run, Crawl, Climb, Slip... & Leap!  This is a great day of fun for anyone, any age at any level! 

A portion of all proceeds will go to the Leap for a Cure Organization.  For information on this amazing organization and all the wonderful things they are doing in our community to help the fight against brain cancer please visit www.leapforacure.com

Race Day Registration Closes at 10:30am 

COURSES:

3 Mile Course - This course will include all the challenge of a trail run with the added fun of a mud run!   Enjoy the mountainous terrain, breath-taking views and the boot-camp style obstacle along the way.  And let's not forget the mud pit finish!       

1-Mile Fun Run - This shortened course will include a fun 1-mile run through some obstacles before racers venture into the mud pit! 

4 Person Relay Team - This relay race will take place on the 3-mile course.  First team to finish the course win's the Mountain Muck Trophy!   Costumes are highly encouraged!

Polliwog Jog - This kids course for ages 12 & under will include a fun obstacle course and lots and lots of mud!  Your kids aren't going to want to miss this one!

AWARDS & PRIZES:

Awards will be presented at the post race celebration.  Awards & prizes will be given to the top finishers in each category.  Best team, individual & kids costume will be decided by race officials.   

FESTIVITIES:

Food tent & beer garden will be available throughout the event.

Each registrant will receive a commemorative t-shirt & entry into Raffle to win a Mt. Crescent 2010/2011 Season Ski Pass

• All team members MUST register together. 
• Sorry no refunds.  This event goes on rain or shine.  If you would like to transfer your registration to someone else, please notify us no later than Friday September 17^th.
• All children under 18 yrs must have the registration waiver signed by a parent or guardian prior to participation.
• No dogs, baby strollers or baby jogging strollers on the course.
• No alcohol is to be brought onto the premises.

TIPS & SAFTEY:

• Wear your grungy clothes & old sneakers
• Rinse off and changing area will be available
• Bring a towel, a change of clothes & shoes
• Leave your jewelry at home
• Drink plenty of fluids prior to, during & after race
• Do not dive head first into the mud pit
• This is a fun run so help your neighbor if he or she needs it
• There will be a Ski Patroller on location if medical attention is required
• We are not responsible for your personal gear - lost, stolen or damaged
• Do not let your children go in the mud unattended
• Costumes are encouraged & have fun, fun, fun!
